Lake Havasu Independent Living Projects for Senior Housing: A Result of Partnership

Summerlin Desert represents the partnership between two existing Lake Havasu City anchored businesses, Summerlin Asset Management, and Desert Land Group.

These two institutions, along with their experienced development team, partnered to create,  develop, execute and operate a new entity, Lake Havasu Independent Living.

Lake Havasu Independent Living facility is for seniors age 55 and up, with the comprehensive package of food, utilities, fitness center, and even a Bistro with wine, beer and food, a media room, multi-purpose activity rooms, a swimming pool and some other facilities designed to make their retirement years comfortable.

One of the partners in the said project is Summerlin Asset Management LLC. It is a diversified real estate investment which incorporates advanced strategies to accommodate every client’s needs. Jimmy Stepanian, President & CEO of SAM, has been in the real estate debt industry since 2006. He founded Summerlin Asset Management in 2008 and immediately stabilized contractual agreements on various banks like Nevada State Bank,  US Bank, Tennessee National Bank, Kondaur Capital Corp and many others.

Jim Stepanian’s expertise in managing the purchase, resale, and servicing of performing and the non-performing real estate has also led to the fast growth of Summerlin Asset Management with now corporate offices in California and Arizona as well as supervising contracted marketing agents in 23 states.

Participating in this project is  Desert Land Group located in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. It was developed in 2014  by two real estate, design and development professionals, Mychal Gorden and Luke Still. Their combined 30 years of experience in the desert southwest on several land acquisition and development projects since 2004 makes their company an ideal partner with Summerlin Asset Management. Desert Land Group’s expertise is diverse as they specialize in understanding new markets, project types, and developing trends to help their clients understand the aspect of each project.

It is also believed that this new project in Lake Havasu City is a continuation of the skills and resources accumulated on the Senior Housing project in Texas, and a direct result of the demographics and economic conditions in which Lake Havasu is prime of.
